Betty Verdecia is an associate attorney at The Verdecia Law Firm’s principal office in Coconut Grove, Florida. She has experience working closely with victims of negligence, including but not limited to, slip and fall accidents, trip and fall accidents, car accidents, trucking accidents, roadway construction wrecks, catastrophic injury cases, wrongful death cases, negligent security and negligent supervision cases, burn cases and has experience in the litigation of
Uninsured/Underinsured claims, medical malpractice birth injury cases, misdiagnoses and heart attack cases.
Ms. Verdecia focuses her practice on litigating premises liability, negligent security, trucking and car accident cases Ms. Verdecia has handled cases all over the State of Florida, including but notlimited to Orlando, Pensacola, Daytona Beach, Marathon, Key West, West Palm
Beach, Port St. Lucie, Broward County, Miami-Dade County, Volusia County, and others.
Ms. Verdecia attended The University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a double minor in Anthropology and French.
She would then go on to receive her Juris Doctor Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in South Florida. While in law school, she worked closely with victims of employment law violations as well as researching for professors.
Ms. Verdecia is licensed to practice before all the state courts of the State of Florida including the Supreme Court of Florida. Ms. Verdecia is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern District of Florida.
